I ended up like, just ceasing to write drabbles at all. I don't think the necessity of having everything be Presentable and Substantial enough to appear in someone's tag search was the main cause but it definitely contributed, lol. Especially since I write almost 100% extremely niche stuff so it's like. When you're going to be like one of four people who have ever posted to a pairing tag it does kinda make you feel Visible. Case in point: I have fic I've been sitting on for a little while because I don't want to post two of the same obscure pairing in a row. Logically there's no reason for this to be bad but somehow it feels like I...look too invested? Am spamming the tag? God knows but I still haven't posted it lol.

EDIT: Also I feel like, paradoxically, not having my own space meant I needed some kind of Personal Brand to distinguish me from everyone else. I have a fic on anonymous on AO3 solely because I thought it was too sappy and thus out of character for me (or something).
