Summary: The Queen of the Vilebloods is unimpressed with the first hunter to cross her threshold in a century or more.
Notes: Noncon, guro with TONS of blood, snuff (though death is inherently ephemeral for hunters). I really liked the visual of going into Frenzy, with spikes of your own blood stabbing out of your flesh, and since Lady Maria has blood manipulation powers and is questionably connected to the Vilebloods I thought maybe Annalise would have something like that too. Also, I love the threaded cane.
( The martyr Logarius had put up a long, grueling fight. By the end of it, the hunter was limping and battered... )
